Kurt Russell and his black Dodge Charger star in “Death Proof”, the Quentin Tarantino-directed film from the “Grindhouse” double feature.
It’s pure Dodge muscle and it’s being called by critics one of the best chase scenes ever filmed.
“Death Proof”, the Quentin Tarantino-directed film from the “Grindhouse” double feature that opens this weekend, showcases a chase sequence between a vintage Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger.
One character in the movie delivers the line, “There is no point in living in America if you aren't driving a Challenger."

Kurt Russell, who plays a scar-faced stranger known as Stuntman Mike, drives a skull-decorated Dodge Charger. He meets three sisters in a 1970 Dodge Challenger.
“(Director) Tarantino stages the chase with an immediacy that makes you feel every whiplash turn,” said Rolling Stone magazine, which calls the movie a “babes and bullets tour de force.”
See you at the cinema this weekend.
