Remote Start
After buying a Challenger I ordered a remote start for my 09 (automatic 5 spd) through the dealer about one month ago. It was a stock dealer R/T with little options. He still does not have the remote kit, nor will they offer any insight as to what is taking so long. Anybody else ordered one?

The remote start kit is so new it is not available yet. They are still building them for Dodge. Unfortunately there is no ETA yet. This is actually really common with Dodge. They will advertise the heck out of it and it will not be available yet. Just be patient and check back every few days with your dealer. You can pm also is you would like me to check your status.

That's the info I was looking for, thanks. They made it sound like they would just pull it off the shelf and send it out in a few days! You figure if they already have the units to install in factory installed vehicles then they would have the kits available to send out. Oh well, patience now then.

I have a 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Limited Edition (Black # 3053), As most of you know there were only 3 options for these cars in 2008, but NO remote start, I'm still waiting, I don't know for how long I'll be patience with these guys?

The Remote Start came in to my dealer last week. They charged me $150 for the install.
