Thumbs up i really like the rear spoiler-

i've got the factory srt spoiler on my 2009 s.e.
i wish i had waited and put on the older style spoiler.
your car looks great!-btw-was it difficult to install your rear spolier?

Thanks.!

It is a 1970 model of the Go-Wing from Mopar..
(they also make a '71 model, which is slighly different.)
I got mine from Fredericks C-J-D in Ohio on one of their eBay ads..
search Go-Wing on eBay and look for Fredericks..
got it for ~$300.00

bbtw, Fredericks is one of the Dodge dealers that got their "closing" papers
yesterday, so if you are thinking of buying one from them, you
only have until the first week of June..

It wasn't difficult to install..

What WAS difficult was drilling that first hole in a 2 week old pristine trunk lid..
( did this the first week of Dec.)

here is a link to how it was mounted,
70s Go Wing - Dodge Challenger Forum - Forums and Owners Club for the new Dodge Challenger!
which also has a link to a place to buy them from, both the '70 & the '71 model (with pics)
This is not where I purchased mine from, but it appears to be the same spoiler..

(you need to read the entire post )

Is the wing a repo 70, made for the 09, or is it made for the 70?

Got any pictures of a 71 gull wing on a challenger?

it is a repro '70 for a '70 that fits '09..

I haven't seen any '71 gull wings on a '09 Challenger..
IMHO , I don't think it would look as good, but I could be wrong..
(I just never liked the '71 as much as the '70..)

here is a pic of a '71 and a '70 below..
(thanks to Back N Black for the pic of the '71)

.

it is a subtle difference..
mainly the '70's ends drop down farther..

wuz up DH??!! put in a name change for this forum. That car still rocks everytime I look at it. I love that Charger too. I got a friend that has a 68 RR, he lives right around the block from me, all it needs is some restoration love and that car would just kick arse!!

Lookin at getting me an exhaust system from another fella that has an R/T. still waiting to hear back from him.

Yea, the reflection is skewed where the spoiler is bolted to the trunk lid.
Looks like an amateur install. Way to fork up a perfectly good trunk lid
for the next owner to deal with. Not diggin the challenger on the rear
bumper either.
I will stay with my CHALNGR licence plate if the want to know what it
is from the rear that I am driving....

I really like that script on the back like that... good idea,

I may just need to try that myself at some point if I don't do some other things I'm toying with.... Looks like it should have come from the factory that way..

RAM Emblem

I am very curious about this matter... it has been assigned the RAM Emblem only for the Dodge trucks, So what logo (Emblem) will be allocated to Dodge cars except the car name or there will be a special emblem???
