The 1/4 mile time is the same as the Camaro with the L99 engine, you have to step up to the LS3 which is only available with a manual transmission to get a 3 tenths quicker. And you only get 1 tenth of a second quicker 0-60 in the Camaro with either the L99 or LS3 which both have the same 0-60 times, but the SRT8 has an automatic transmission vs the LS3 manual. A tweak or 2 would probably fix that.

My Co-worker just purchased a SS/LS3 6 Speed Camaro, I just purchased a SRT8 6 Speed Challenger. Everyone wants us to do a comparison, after driving a LS3 Powered SS and My 6 Speed SRT8, I would be willing to lay some green down. Both are fast however, I drove a Autostick SRT8 before purchasing my 6 speed and due to the gearing difference alone there is a significant difference.
