Vynal roof photoshop?

As some of us remember, a great number of challengers(70-74) had vynal roofs in a number or different grains ,but thankfully (to my knowledge) no mod-tops!

When seeing the new cars in silver and a few white pics floating around,

It seams the lighter colours make the cars look huge!

So i wonder what a silver or white car would look like with a vynal top?

What about a yellow one with a mod top?

Its very funny that you mention the old tops My wife and I have shopped around to different custom shops to have the phantom black cloth (wife hates vinyl). I love the idea of a new car with a classic look. We built her 05' Mustang to look like "Bullit". McQueen would have loved it. A F350 Super Duty ate the front. So now we are waiting for our new toy.

The kids around here call them that! I guess thats what I get for trying to blend in. I have seen a few cars that have had them. From a distance they look vinyl,up close they are a heavy duty,weather-resistant,non-fade cloth/cavnvas fabric. When I find the custom shop to do the work there will be pics.If I find the name for the fabric it to will be posted.

1969 1970 plymouth offered a Mod top phyco flashy(it was the 70's)

they were blue or yellow and flowery.

Available on most cars but cuda's and roadrunners got most of them.

Do a google search should have pics.

a full mod top car had the door panels done as well!

If you ever get to touch one the first thing you think of by feel and pattern is your grand mothers table cloth!

Makes you wonder what the desiners were smoking!

You did say it was the 70's, so they might have been 'smoking'. I will do a search to see if it is the same. Some late model Caddys have the fabric I am talking about.
