How did you add them? My radio won't let me use a usb for some reason it like makes the sytem reboot but I don't want to put ALL of my songs onto CD's and burn them in one by one.

Take a look at this site My Dodge: MyGIG – How MyGIG Works

If your system reboots when you use a USB drive then I would take it to the dealer and have it looked at. I have copied music and pictures from a USB drive to the MyGig system a few times without any issues.

Hmm I did that a while ago and they said they couldn't do anything because I couldn't prove it wasn't my USB drive. It wasn't because it did it with both of my drives, made by different companies. Oh well I'll go back. Thanks.

The HDD seems a little slow to download to. It took 1 1/2 hours to put 767 songs on but once they are all on everything works great.
Beings I took the songs of my IPod with 3600 songs it tooks 767 of the 1st songs and they weren't all the songs I like best. I erased the HDD and started all over wuth disks. I used Itunes and downloaded the songs I wanted to disk as MP3's and then reloaded. 336 songs took 3 disks not to bad. So you migth try that.

You can download songs right off of your Ipod? I always thought you couldn't because of format and all of that? Also did you use MP3 discs because I have been putting off buying some of those because I was hoping to figure out the USB thing.

I used the USB port on the radio not the one in the console. Not sure if that makes a differece or not. Yes I used CD's but used MP3 format. Not sure if you use Itunes or another program to save your music on your computer. Anyway you should be able to save your music as MP3's on disk.

OK Thanks. I have always only been able to copy 10-15 songs on my CD-R and yes I use Ituens. What settings are you using to be able to copy 300+ songs on one CD?

As MP-3's a CD with handle aound 125 so it took 3 disc for the 336 I put on. Just go to the bottom right corner of the ITunes page were it say burn disc click button. Then when the window opens it will be on CD quality go a couple line down and click on MP3 CD then click burn. I made a folder with the songs I wanted and use that folder. Hope that helps

Ya I will try that. Still will take forever. How much space is available on the unit for songs anyway?
