One that got away?

We all missed one tell us about yours!



Mine was in 1980 (not that i could afford it anyway)

Found while looking for 70 charger parts a.....

1970 challenger conv lime green 4 speed ......Hemi

was asking $10,000 in 1980 mind you

sold in 1989 for $50,000

went to New Jersey for restoration ,saved all orig body panels

Remarkable from salty Nova Scotia!

heard it went to England.

who knew in 1980 there was only 5 ,4speed hemi converts and 4 auto!

or 4and 5

worth what today $2,000,000 +

Stand in line to kick myself!

too list a few

all these were missed in the early 80's when I was young and broke

1963 Z06 Corvette fullie, big tank coupe - $15000

1968 HEMI SS Barracuda - uncut - $9000

1970 HEMI Challenger vert - $8000 (basket case)

1971 HEMI Cuda vert auto, hemi orange with orange interior - $24,000 (a lot back then)

1971 HEMI Charger auto and another 4spd car

countless '69 Camaros , Z28,SS, Z28/RS

if I had these cars today...........

1994;
'70 Challenger Vert, 383 4-speed.
green on green, just the frame for the top.
pretty rough, but apparently drivable.
$700, sitting outside a gas station next to the A&W.

Reason I didn't buy it..
I was in 7th grade, and only had about $32 to my name.
