Chrome Rim Maintenence

I am curious to know what type of cleaners people use on their crome rims...this is my first car with chrome rims and they get very dirty and spotty with road grime, brake dust u name it. I just bought some rim cleaning solution by Armour All and tire gel to give byrubber a fresh deep-black look...but is there anything someone would like to add or comment on out there?

I know it's been awhile, but here's my usual routine for cleaning my car:

On a non-wax clean:
I wash with car shampoo
dry with microfiber cloth
for the wheels, I usually spray the loose dirt off, then follow up with a good cleaning with windex or some other window cleaner. Then I apply a thin layer of car wax (liquid works best). Allow to dry slightly then wipe off the excess. The wax will collect most of the dirt/dust and will prevent this stuff from scraping at the finish of the wheels. Buff to a killer shine and watch the heads turn :-)

MeGuiars makes a spray on cleaning product made specifically for rims that works extremely well at removing brakes dust, road grime etc. It's called "Hot Rims for Chrome Wheels" You'll find it with the auto cleaning supplies/waxes/Armour section of your local auto supply store. Walmart in Canada carries it.

I use the MeGuiars regularly and it works very well for me.
