Challenger Script Grille emblem.

Does anyone know how to attach the 70's Challenger script grille emblem onto the grille of the '09? It has 3 pins on the back, though they are too short to reach the other side. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

without seeing the emblem its hard to really say what to do, but i would prolly get a bolt about half the size of the pin, grind off the head, drill down the center of the pin, JB weld the bolt down into the pin, and bolt it on from the back...

Prolly gonna be like a #8 or maybe even a #6 screw, which is pretty small, but it should hold just fine... We use them all the time at work for much things taht are alot more stressful on the bolt...

Don't worry it will fit. I got mine off of ebay and it has the 3 pins. I went to a local body shop and found the speed nuts that go on the pins I had to washer it up some so that the washer would cover the hole that you are sticking the pins through. mine is from a 70 Challenger, I cleaned it up and repainted the black and mounted it in the grille on the drivers side like the old ones.

3M emblem Tape works wonders and is totally reversable unlike
speed nuts that will show their presence long after they have been removed....
Not to mention the challenger script rubbing up against the grill and
marking it up also. The 3M grey foam Emblem Tape is strong as nails
and holds the emblem just off of the grills surface preventing damage.
