FNG Checking in Fort Worth, TX

Hello,

I just got home from the dealer with my new R/T, Hemi Orange, 6 Speed, 27J with a ton of options. I really love the power and the feel of the pistol grip.

The stereo and nav rock. I did not want a sunroof but it has one and I am sure it will grow on me.

Anyway I am in Fort Worth, TX and I have been a Mopar guy since birth. I also own a 1970 Road Runner, 383, 4spd car. It is in the middle of a resto right now.

I don't want to go to sleep, I want to play with my car!!

Bob

Hey Buddy, Welcome to the board. And congrats on your new R/T. I also have a loaded R/T (Inferno Red Crystal Pearl) and love it. Had a blast at the track last weekend. Just couldn't get the factory Goodyear 245 45 zr20s to hook up. Ran high 13s all day long (was burning the rears in 3rd and chirping them in 4th; you know the story). Have to get some new rear tires in the spring (racing season's over hear in NW Indiana; we're dreading our first measurable snowfall in the next couple of weeks). Haven't heard the term "FNG" since I was the new g.m. at a small company 15 years ago...brought back some fun memories and more than a few laughs from back then. Have fun with your R/T. And yes, you'll learn to love the sunroof.

I still love to play with cars too. BEBEEP

Thanks for the welcome, I appreciate it. I use "FNG" from my military days, 12 years active duty USAF. I see you are from NW Indiana. I now live in Texas but am originally from South Bend, IN.

I snapped a few pics of my R/T this morning.

I got my car at Meador CDJ in Ft Worth. Wife and I frequently go to DFW every so often for weekend "getaways", plus I was stationed at Carswell AFB (when it was an actual AF base) from 1989-91, so I know the DFW area fairly well and always enjoy going back.
