Hey folks,
Got my SRT8 about 4 weeks ago at United Dodge in Vegas and have big plans for it. First it is off to the Paint booth at Ten Ten Custom paint for a really cool and aggressive paint job. Met with Tim from Sherwin Williams Planet Color and picked out a very sweet candy red on a silver flake base with 5 coats of clear. It will take about a month for Joel at TenTen to finish the total repaint then it is off to another shop in Vegas for the next step. First we are changing out the tires for Toyo 22" in the rear and Toyo 21" in the front. All on the newest Crager Chrome Wheels. Then the new Under-Carriage Turbo Charger from Crager with the Cat back custom pipe system and Carbon Fiber coverplate over the Turbo. Diablo tuning will be sending an engineer to install the new Diablo tuning module and run it up right on the dyno. Adding a cold air intake system from...not sure on that one just yet. This should bring it all to about 625-640 HP to the rear wheels. ![]() I will send along pics along the way as a couple of mags are doing some pics and a story due to the owners of Crager getting excited about so much of their products on one car. I am open to more suggestions for making this the ultimate weekend car so please email me or post with more suggestions. Please be as specific as possible with all specs and costs etc. Where to get it and who needs to install it. Think solid and high end not bling bling. Thanks for letting me share and i hope all of you enjoy yours half as much as i enjoy my new Challenger. Mark |

Where are you going to fit the turbo?
I saw the one on Trucks TV show and it seams like a lot of pipes to squeeze on a car?

Good question. I will include a link here to Cragar mustang with the twin turbo showing where it goes. It mounts pretty close to the same way on the Challenger.
cragar.com/Experience_GalleryPhoto.aspx?pid=85 looks like the link may not work but you can cut and paste that last line. Or just go to the Cragar Site. I have to tell you those 10" Toyo's on Cragar Wheels are going to really going to add to that 70's look. I will post a few picks a few days before xmas when it is supposed to be done. Fantastic color on yours by the way. What do you have planned for it? Or are you going to keep it pretty much stock? Mark ![]() |
