Another Wannabe Challenger owner

Greetings, all!
Great forum!
This is (duh) my first post here, although I'm a member of numerous other forums.
I'm still in the "lust" phase of potential Challenger ownership, but hopefully, I'll come up with something before too long. Really want a Titanium gray 6 speed R/T, which is proving to be a bit... elusive.
But I have to sell some stuff, first. (Anyone need World-of-Wheels class-winning V8 Fiero? )
I'm mostly a GM guy, now, but I have owned a 73 and 71 Barracuda, and a 78 dodge 150 truck.

Later!

Raydar

(And yes... I know my username is spelled wrong. Long story.)

We have the technology...

It's a 4.9 (300 CI) from a FWD Cadillac DeVille. The entire FWD drivetrain (engine, 4T60E transaxle, and PCM) was transplanted. It uses a custom made harness that plugs right in to the Fiero's electrical system. It looks and runs like it came that way. Nothing was torched or hammered to make it fit.
Guy in Huntsville who did it has done nearly a hundred of them. Pretty much has it down to a science.

Happy to be here!
This seems to be one of the better forums I've ever seen.

Is that black mustang in the pic yours? That would be funny because I drive an R/T 6 spd and my husband has a black mustang GT.

Yes it is. Its a 07 GT that looks like Knight Rider. lol. I am getting rid of it come spring possibly sooner for a Black RT 6 spd. Was almost swayed over to the new camaro but couldn't leave my true love. HAha

I got silver and I love it. You'd think I was in a Ferrari by the way people react to the car. It's awesome. Very quick. You'll love it. My husband's GT is an 06. It's nice but it's no Challenger. I think the new Camaro looks really nice too.
