I was really hoping to see the Challenger R/T unveiled sporting a SHAKER hood. If Dodge doesn't step-up, I'm sure that the aftermarket will. The initial hp estimate of the 5.7 Hemi with VVT was 390. No doubt that mileage was a production factor. Still, 370hp and a 6sp will be a thrill.

The V6 Challenger SE with 250hp standard and a wide range of options at a starting price in the low 20s should be the model with the largest consumer impact. It looks very good in blue. I can hardly wait till more colors are available. Dodge has now updated their site to include the 2009 Challenger. Check it out, play around, and enjoy!

According to the website pics, all models have the SRT8 highly-bolstered seats, even the V6. Is that true? But my main question is, when can you order an '09?

I'm getting one, I like the way it turned out. I'm probably like most and wish it was a bit closer to the concept but I'll take it anyways!!! It still looks killer, and it is going to perform sweet for the money!

Exclamation New 2009 dealer flyer and order info!

Ok I need to scan and post asap!

But I obtain from my Dodge store today a brochure 1st I have seen on the 2009, has color options and even a mail in request for information card about placing an order, just like any other car. Aks the basic when do you want to buy etc.

I will scan and post as soon as I can. I think you guys can print out the order card and make a post card out of it. it has the address etc to mail it to.

The flyer is about 10 pages or so. I can finally see the diff in the 2 red colors offer, the pearl and the torid red. Man this car is sweet! it even looks so awesome in black I want black too!

I will try and get this done tonight for everyone.

Cool some RT 09 info

The manual-transmission Challenger R/T has numerous differences from the automatic aside from the transmission itself, using a variable displacement power steering pump, different rear shocks, and other tuning changes — and the ability to shut off the ESP completely, rather than having it in “rescue” mode. The gas mileage for the manual transmission is a little lower than the automatic, because it cannot have the multiple-displacement system (cylinder shutoff). A special-edition Dodge Challenger Classic R/T will be available later in the 2009 model year, with B5 blue paint, black side stripes, unique badging, and 20-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels.
