Supercharger

It appears that most of the superchargers are made to accomodate the SRT8 and not the RT. Am I missing something here. Part of the reason I purchased the RT was to save the money and put the difference between the SRT8 and RT into mods that would outperform a stock SRT8. From what I read now, a supercharger installed on an RT will produce approximately 100 more hp than stock vs 150 more hp on an SRT8 . Did I screw by not purchasing the SRT8? I purchased a PYPES catback system, Diablo Predator Tuner, Hurst Shifter and Cervini Shaker with Cold Air Intake. Is there anything else that I can do to increase hp without purchasing a supercharger at this point? I am not looking to race my car, just to cruise and have fun with a little more umph! Has anyone out there put a supercharger on theor RT and if so was it worth the bucks?

Thanks!

Magna Charger

Check out Magnuson Superchargers. I have had one on my vette for over two years & it is the way to go. I plan on putting one on my RT in the Spring.

Most of the SC's come in an 5.7 version from what I've seen. There out there. There are the typical tuning hurtles with a new ECU but a number of guys of done it successfully.

i put a procharger on my 5.7 it great off the line but at the top end I think the 3.06 gears hurt it.
