I pick up my white R/T 6spd on sat from Baxter Dodge in Omaha (great to deal with) when I was there thur they had 2 SRT's and 3 R/T's on the lot. Mine came in on Fri along with 4 other R/T challengers when I came on sat to pick mine up thay had sold all the R/T's. That's 7 30K plus cars in less than 36 hrs. I have to give my salesman a plug if you need a dodge get a hold of Andrew S. @ Baxters they beat everybody else by $1200.

my price is basically locked in....i work for Advance Auto Parts, and we have a deal set up to get any Chrysler vehicle for 1% BELOW invoice....not bad...saves me a couple hundred bucks. besides, i'm not a haggler...i used to sell cars...so i don't beat the hell out of my salesman. all i asked for is if he can throw in the chrome fuel door....that's one doohickey i like
Just a note to help provide a range: On a loaded '09 Challenger R/T, the difference between MSRP and Dealer Invoice is $2,200. Hope that's helpful to anyone shopping for an R/T.

I'm in Canada and I can't believe the employee pricing on the Charger SRT-8...$36,000! Give it a year and the Challenger will be selling at a similar discount. I'm sure you can get one for MSRP or just below right now.

Are you sure on that? Maybe I'm getting bad invoice #'s (edmunds and cars.com) but my R/T reasonably loaded (no sunroof, no 20", no headlamps, no stripes) had a $2600 difference.

His numbers are correct. My dealer invoice for r/t was 2246.00 lower than msrp and i had all options but 6 speed, sound II and the 20's.

I pretty much get the same deal through my company, but I called the dealer and they told me they were not allowed to take that discount with the Challenger... Is that true?

The dealership by me seems to be selling the SE pretty well, as I see different ones by the week, but some of the same R/Ts have been sitting there for over a month... Not that I go by there a lot or anything.

That was the difference on mine; list was 39,055; dealer invoice was 2200 less; I paid 1700 under MSRP which is 500 over dealer invoice. I saw all of the paperwork. Maybe there is a regional pricing/markup difference??
