Why this slow Role Out of the Challenger?

Maybe this is a dumb question - but why is it that Ma Mopar does not ramp up production of this Challenger and spit these cars out faster if there is all this demand? I know a bunch of people that want to buy this car but there is none to choose from. If they believe in this car then freaking make the dang thing. What, are they not automated enough to put these cars together faster than the Model T?

The economy can’t be the issue. If there is demand then this is the car that they want to make to sell, I think that is called “Income” of witch Chrysler needs right now. I just do not get these guys. This has to be the most pathetic role out of all time.

Someone enlighten me.

(PS) There needs to be a Challenger General discussion Post.

Oh, I agree they've got issues of complaining about bad sales # but they won't build the cars. I actually got a call from the area Zone manager because I raised enough stink at the dealer & had a call in to the customer service 800 number complaining after 3 6speed cars ordered after my order have been built & delivered to my dealer(within a few weeks of order... one was even optioned the same but just TorRed vs my choice of Drk Titanium) but mine hasn't been built yet (going on over 2 months now in C status).

I've told the dealer either it goes to D/D1 this friday or their doing a nationwide search to find a DTM 6speed similarly optioned and sending someone to get it even if it's in Alaska.

Sadly this seems to be a constant problem with me and ordering cars from Chrysler... when I ordered my 06 Charger it stayed in C status for 4 months before I just gave up and made the dealer get a similar car from east side of Indiana. I was p.o'ed because my truck had been totaled and was driving my weekend/fun 2002 WS6 Trans Am... I put nearly 3k miles on it in those 4 months and it took it up to around 4000miles on the odometer (I've been keeping it immaculate/low miles for collector value... it just hit 5k miles recently)
