MPG and maybe more power
Yes it is asking a lot to have both.
Well I wonder what the 6spd will offer, I would think maybe 20+ MPG? I also want to se a 6.4 as an option, or maybe nother 30-40 HP in the 6.1? ![]() |

A catback exhaust system and a cold air K&N filter will give you 40 hp EASY!!!

40 HP? Well, i'll take an R/T with a cat back and cold air intake, and be close to SRT8 HP with MDS and better fuel economy.

I cretainly don't want to burst the bubble of the Challenger, but it uses the same engine and control system the LX has. There is simply no way you will get 40 HP out of a catback and a CAI...maybe 1-5..maybe
The control system is adaptive so it sees changes and modifies the PCM to maintain the factory output.. Sorry guys |

LOL..that's the same question us fools with SRT's have been asking for a couple of years now. THere is one company who has inally started to open the code ( Diablo) and you can finally get a good tune when you add power adders, but of course there is a charge

i just finished the whole cai, exhaust, tune pkg for my 04 tbird and got (verifyable thru dynos) 35hp 40tq which was a 15% increase over stock. If this type pkg is available to the chally 40hp increase should be easy.

Man I could sure use one of those 426 Hemi's. 585HP would cook G8's, GT500's and most vette's.
