MPG and maybe more power

Yes it is asking a lot to have both.

Well I wonder what the 6spd will offer, I would think maybe 20+ MPG? I also want to se a 6.4 as an option, or maybe nother 30-40 HP in the 6.1?

A catback exhaust system and a cold air K&N filter will give you 40 hp EASY!!!

40 HP? Well, i'll take an R/T with a cat back and cold air intake, and be close to SRT8 HP with MDS and better fuel economy.

I cretainly don't want to burst the bubble of the Challenger, but it uses the same engine and control system the LX has. There is simply no way you will get 40 HP out of a catback and a CAI...maybe 1-5..maybe
The control system is adaptive so it sees changes and modifies the PCM to maintain the factory output..

Sorry guys

LOL..that's the same question us fools with SRT's have been asking for a couple of years now. THere is one company who has inally started to open the code ( Diablo) and you can finally get a good tune when you add power adders, but of course there is a charge

i just finished the whole cai, exhaust, tune pkg for my 04 tbird and got (verifyable thru dynos) 35hp 40tq which was a 15% increase over stock. If this type pkg is available to the chally 40hp increase should be easy.

More HP and better MPG from a hemi

OK found some tuning / performance stull geared for the late hemis. These guys seem to be one of the best in the buis. They are not cheap though.

I like that you can add 40-50 bolt on HP on the new 6.1 I think this looks like a nice kit. So instead of a complete engine you can get the T-Body, programmer and cold air kit.

Both while maintaining a smooth ride! We have installed this engine in a Chrysler 300C and run it as an everyday car. Thumbs up 426 Hemi

Man I could sure use one of those 426 Hemi's. 585HP would cook G8's, GT500's and most vette's.

well for that matter-
Typically a 6.1L 425 HEMI increases to almost 800 crank HP!
On a supercharged Challenger! Photos!
