I'm just throwin' this out there with nothing to back it up...but if the SRT8 is low 13's, I can't see the R/T being any better than high 13's. The only video I saw of the Challenger on the track was at 13.7 and 13.75. Here's to hoping we can learn how to break some laws of physics.

probably 13.7-8ish @ 102-3mph for the R/T? the weight is whats killing the performance, but that can always be fixed. the R/T is probably similar to a 5.7 GTO.

well the charger srt8 seems to run about a 13.1-2 and the charger r/t seems like it runs anywhere from 13.9-14.2
id guess its somehwere around that, its about the closest car there is to it.

The rear ratio on the '08 SRT's are what, 3.06?

3.06, and the '09's with the track pack are 3.92's I believe. That should make for a little time adjustment.
I'm hopin' anyway. |

so far my best with the challenger with just a modified convertor and one of my RDP tunes ran in columbus at the lx nationals in the heat a 13.02 @ 107.9mph we have now fitted cam and heads, rdp intact, kooks headers and hi flow cats but have retained the factory exhaust for the time being and looking at getting it back to the track now that i have re-tuned it for the changes

Sounds like a winner, anxiously awaiting the new track times.

Does anyone know the difference in 1/4 mile times and...
0-60 times for:
SRT auto vs manual R/T auto vs manual I am talking bone stock. I can fine good SRT auto information, and some RT standard info.

In the Challenger V8s Performance Forum above, Moe'sPerformance states that he watched a bone stock '09 R/T 6 speed run 13.6 in the 1/4 mile. He stated that the first run was 14.1, but times improved to 13.6 for that R/T as the owner improved his shift timing etc....

If anyone is still following this post, read up. There are two Challenger R/T strip results posted. Mine was stock with just a K&N intake. Getting the tire pressure right and figuring out the right rpm to launch at was the key. For me it was 20psi and 900 to 1000 rpms.
