Anyone like to turn the wheel?

I know most peoples Challengers will see 1/8 and 1/4 mile strips (as well as the occasional redlight romp ), but what about turning the wheel? Anyone planning on their Chally seeing an autocross course, OTD or HPDE? When I'm finally able to get one, I'll be taking it to our local strip occasionally, but it'll see more time on an autox course than a dragstrip

Frankly, the chally is best suited to a straight line, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't do curves/turns pretty well too.

My Porsche Boxster has a 1.0 skid pad, and 2008 SRT-8 Cally has a .9 skid pad. I see a bit more roll with the chally on a couple of nice sharp turning exit/entry ramps that I test, but it really does not fall short of the porsche...

That said, I wouldnt be surprised to see some on other circuits after the 1/4 mile folks get bored. It won't be me as I am too busy making it go faster straight, but more power to ya, it will do ya proud.

I might get to do some autocross since when I get my challenger back I will have the great Eibach full coilovers on it.

I am thinking about it considering the car has IRS in the rear from the factory. There are several people I know including myself that have put on Razors Edge Motorsports front and rear strut tower braces and there sub frame connects and the car just handles amazing. It handles 10 times better on the street and 100 times better at the track. I personally think they are must do mods for anyone looks to better the suspension on there cars. The key to a unibody car is make it a structurally sound as possible.

Turning a Challenger

I am hoping to get a New Challenger by March.
It will be street legal long enough to get from the dealer to my shop.
We'll gut it and cage it for NASA "American Iron" Racing series.
