Drifting through the drifts in CO ! Sounds like fun; you guys get way more snow than we do... When did you order? Do you have a VIN yet? On the schedule???? I ordered on 06/17; still in C status. My dealer ordered a basic 6 speed 05/29 and it's just off the assy line now...so I'm thinking that mine should be coming down the line within the next 2 weeks or so....

I just ordered mine this last weekend, its in BG status right now. Dealer I ordered from has one Black R/T w/6spd fully loaded in C status. Little to expensive for me right now, so I ordered what I could afford.

I ordered mine back on 06/17...BUT... The R/T 6 speeds were delayed due to faulty drivetrain components (I believe in the half-shafts and/or rear end) supplied by Getrag.... I was told that the SEs and R/T automatics were run first due to this problem which didn't effect those models. Only the 6 speed R/Ts and SRT8s were affected by the problem. Getrag recently supplied upgraded components so they are just now able to produce the manual R/Ts and the SRT8s. So....Yours shouldn't take anywhere near that long to hit the assembly line !!!!! Hope yours is ready soon !!!

I am going back to the dealer tomorrow, got check on something that came up, no big deal, shouldn't change anything. As much as I want it to get here, if it takes awhile, I won't mind, give me more time to put more money down on it.

thats a great idea, thats how my dad taught me to drive stick, he took me out in his '86 SVO. that was a HARD car to learn to drive stick on... but i finally got the hang of it, once i finally got driving a stick down i couldnt get enough of it!! when i order mine its going to have a 6 speed in it

Mitsubishi Eclipse has a butter-smooth manual. If you can't find a rental with a manual, look around local car dealers' used car lots. "Test drive" a manual Eclipse; she can probably learn the manual in an Eclipse in 15 or 20 minutes !
