sequential taillights

I just got a set of taillight sequencers from WebElectrics and to my dismay, the
instructions state that:

" On a stock Challenger, only the fender lamps function as brake/turn/tail light lamps.
The lamps on the trunk lid function only as tail lights. The STS-4CH kit converts the trunk
lights into full brake/turn/tail lights that allow sequencing of all four sections. Adding 4 more
lamps (2.2 amps each) to the taillight system essentially doubles the load on the Challengers
Intergrated Power Module, and may affect its operation. To reduce the risk of damage to the
Challenger because of this increased load, the harnesses turn off the outer lamps under certain
conditions.
First, if the brakes are on for more that 60 seconds, the sequential harness turns off the outer
fender lamps, but keeps the trunk lid and inside fender lamps on.
Second, if a turn signal or the hazzards are on for more than a few minutes, the outer fender
lamps turn off, but the other three keep sequencing. "

I had WebElectrics reprogram them for me to stay on regardless of the time they have been on.
I then used two BOSCH 30AMP SPST lighting relays and two 1N4001
protection diodes across the relay coils to snub the Peak Inverse Voltage
from the magnetic feild being removed from the relay. This takes
the load of the 4 extra bulb filiments (almost 9 amps) off of the Integrated
Power Module. Its a simple mod that also requires reprogramming of the
modules by WebElectrics. And a notorized liability release form...
I have yet to install them but I will take some nice pics to post.
Just so you know before ordering the $149.95 kit.

Here is how they are described on the WebElectric website:
The STS-4CHPW Sequential Turn Signal kit will convert the taillights on your 2008+ Dodge Challenger into Sequential Turn Signals.
The kit contains pre-wired, plug-in harnesses that install with no wire cutting or splicing of any kind!
These harnesses feature sophisticated electronics that automatically adjust the sequencing speed to match the turn signal flasher
in your car. While other products offer you fixed timing or complicated manual adjustments, our electronics sense your car's flasher
speed and adjust the sequence timing for you.
